Dublin's newest pub is looking for 'red-haired bar staff'
CALLING ALL GINGERS. This new Dublin pub wants YOU.

Bar Rua is a new craft beer pub replacing the old Clarendon Bar in the city centre.
It’s set to open in early March, styling itself as a traditional Irish pub with live music and food.
In keeping with the name (‘rua’ means ‘red’ in Irish) the owners are looking to staff the pub with redheads. They’ve tweeted out a call for gingers:
And even put an ad up on Gumtree, requesting the same:
The text of the ad lists all the usual requirements – two years’ experience, outgoing personality, knowledge of beer and cocktails – but does not specify hair colour.
So is having red hair a bonus, or a hard and fast rule? DailyEdge.ie contacted Bar Rua for clarification – the manager said that yes, it was a serious ad, and “ginger, strawberry blonde, auburn or even bottle redheads” are welcome.
