This woman has the patience of a saint.

YESTERDAY EVENING A woman named Rachel Burns made a very silly and simple joke that went over a lot of peoples heads. After witnessing Barry Gibb of Bee Gees set at Glastonbury, she noted how a lot of the songs he performed had been rehashed by younger pop bands. So much so, that many people forget that they had ever been sung by Bee Gees.

So, as people on Twitter do, she made a joke that Barry had been performing cover songs all night. She never could have anticipated how poorly this simply joke could have been received.

The songs in question were ‘How Deep Is Your Love‘, ‘Words‘ and ‘Tragedy‘.

Immediately she was flooded with replies from people who didn’t understand the joke trying to explain to her that Barry Gibb originally wrote all of those songs.

Having her joke mansplained to her made for one very exhausting evening for Rachel.

The replies were extremely emotional. This man suggested that she had written the tweet out of stupidity and tried to back track.

Needless to say he responded to her really maturely.

It’s a bit painful to see people try their hardest to make sense of the joke.

This guy went to the extra effort of calling her by her name in order to patronise her but failed spectacularly.
