In a post which has amassed considerable reaction since its upload, the Dublin-born actor claimed that staff at The Vintage Kitchen on Poolbeg Street had asked him to leave despite the fact the establishment only had two other customers.
Barry surmised that the incident was born of the fact he was wearing a tracksuit, and criticised the staff for ‘judging’ him.
The post gained immediate traction, with many of Barry’s followers asserting they would take their business elsewhere following the supposed incident.
The Vintage Kitchen have refuted the claims made by the Dunkirk actor, and insisted that the refusal had nothing to do with his attire, but simply the fact they had a booking arriving at noon.

“We were booked out from 12! Nothing to do with tracksuits! People can wear what they like here,” they wrote beneath Barry’s post.
Reiterating their position on their own Twitter platform, the restaurant provided the public with two short posts on the matter.
They then referred to the exchange which supposedly took place between Barry and a staff member.
In a statement to DailyEdge.ie, a representative for The Vintage Kitchen provided further clarification on the incident.
