BBC sent its first tweet in six years and people were decidedly underwhelmed by it
SIX YEARS AGO, the BBC set up its Twitter account @BBC.
But for six long years, the account lay dormant, although it did rack up over 294,000 followers during that period.
People were at the edge of their seats wondering what the broadcaster’s first tweet would be.
Today that all ended when the BBC tweeted this.
