BBC subtitle blunder tells viewers to 'prepare for rape' at Glastonbury
IN THE FACE-PALMING incident to beat all face-palming incidents, the BBC made a mighty blunder during a weather report yesterday.
As Glastonbury opened its gates on Monday, festival-goers tuned into the BBC News at Ten to find out what storms they should be packing for.
The weatherman told viewers to prepare for rain, but the subtitle mistook it for rape.
Needless to say, the BBC swiftly issued an apology, but they can’t do much about the rain unfortunately.
