A BBC newsreader was caught texting at the desk but totally styled it out

“New number, who dis?”

THERE IS A long and distinguished tradition of newsreaders not knowing they are on camera – from Aengus Mac Grianna to half the BBC news staff.

And yesterday afternoon’s BBC News bulletin with Joanna Gosling can now be added to that list:
