HIGHLIGHTING IS the latest beauty trend to take Instagram by storm, with every gal worth her salt seeking out the perfect glow.
But is there such thing as too much sparkle? The answer is yes.
Beauty YouTuber Mariya Lyubashevskaya took the trend to a whole new level, making up her whole face – cheeks, eyes, lips, everything – with different kinds of highlighter.

To start with, she used a liquid highlighter as her foundation:
Then set it with highlighter powder:
And finally contoured with even more highlighter:
She was quick to add that the tutorial was “just for fun” and in no way a “wearable look” – just in case you’re wondering if the beauty blogging world has truly gone off the rails.
