LAST WEEK, BEBO launched a video messaging app called Blab and revealed plans for two more apps.
The social media site, which once boasted 10.7 million users worldwide, is currently mounting a comeback and last night launched a new Bebo app.
The app enables users to create profiles, chat and make extensive use of hashtags.
It is currently available for both Android and iOS.
And people seem to be really enjoying it.
In other news that will be likely met with equal parts dread and excitement, the site has also announced its intention to make everyone’s old photos available from January 31st.
That’s right, former Bebo stunners: all your mortifying old photos will soon be visible for public consumption once more.
Furqan Rydhan of Bebo told DailyEdge.ieÂ
On January 31st we will start the process of exporting old photos from the old Bebo website. We will make sure to provide a mechanism for users to use their old account details for accessing these photos.
As for those of us who may have forgotten our old account details in recent years?
We’re going to do everything we can to get users their old photos. However we need to ensure user privacy is kept safe. So there will be some details that we need to check, but we’re hoping it should cover a majority of the user base.
Deep breaths, everyone. We’re all in this together.
Even Niall Horan.
