BEN AFFLECK HAS been spotted sporting a massive new back tattoo – one which he previously claimed was fake.
Affleck went shirtless on a beach in Hawaii, showing off a multi-coloured tattoo of some kind of bird/mythical creature hybrid.

Affleck previously told Extra’s Mario Lopez a few years back:
“[It’s] fake for a movie … I actually do have a number of tattoos but I try to have them in places where you don’t have to do a lot of cover up they get sort of addictive, tattoos, after awhile.”
A source previously told PEOPLE that he had the tattoo done after his split from Jennifer Garner in 2015 while he was still living in a guest house on the family’s Los Angeles compound.
If it was a ploy to try and win her back though, the joke’s on him though because Garner hates it:
“You know what we would say in my hometown about that? ‘Bless his heart,’” she told Vanity Fair in 2006.
