THE ONLY THING better than a good Twitter parody is one that combines two different sources to do the heavy lifting.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West caused a fuss at the Met Ball this week and it reminded us how much we love certain Twitter parodies about them.

We’ve picked out some of our favourite tweets below and a couple of other accounts in a similar vein.

We wish that this account that mashes Bieber lyrics with the work of philosopher Martin Buber posted more frequently because it is gold

4. Nicki Minavicenna

Sadly, this mash-up of Nicki Minaj with the metaphysical musings of Avicenna only has a handful of tweets but if it had more we reckon it’d be huge.

5. Star Trek and the City

If all this talk of philosophy is too much for you then this excellent pop culture mashup is worth a look.
