AS WELL AS being the year that Beyoncé used the term ‘FUPA‘ in an interview with Vogue, 2018 also marks the year the multi Grammy Award-winner turned 37.
What a whirlwind 12 months it’s truly been.
And to commemorate the journey, Bey, whose birthday falls on September 4, wrote a letter which she posted to her official website and shared with Instagram followers this evening.
Alongside a photo of herself and Jay Z, she wrote:
At 36, I became a new mother of 3. I breastfed twins. I renewed my vows with my husband of ten years.
And then came the career highs.
I came back home to the stage to do Coachella, after pregnancy. Then my husband and I released our album together, Everything Is Love. And we’ve been touring with our family around the world, and loving it.
“This year has been monumental for me,” the mother-of-three wrote.
Concluding the post with a nod to her fans and her hopes for the future, she finished:
I thank God for everyone in my life. Thank you for all the positivity and for the beautiful birthday wishes. I’m looking forward to continuing to learn from my past, living in the present, and surrendering to the future.
The Instagram post has racked up more than 4,000,000 likes in just two hours.
But she didnt stop there.
She also shared a selection of photos documenting the birthday celebrations.
No better woman.
