A mam in Cork recreating the Beyoncé twin photo shoot in her garden has taken over Facebook

Well played.

BEYONCÉ WAS NEVER going to let the first photo of her twins be low key.

And so it was yesterday morning when this shot landed on Instagram:

Great shot and all, but mams of twins everywhere knew that bringing up two babies at once isn’t such a glamorous life.

So Cork mother Sharon Kellaway – who had her twins back in February – decided to recreate the shoot in her own back garden in Kilworth

YES.

It was shared on Twitter by her best friend @SineadMJ in Toronto, and it’s gone super viral ever since

Quality.

Sharon posted on Facebook that it took a few goes to get right, but she hardly had the professional team at her disposal like Beyoncé:

I wonder how many photos Beyoncé had to get through to get the right one. My 6 year old took the photos … no qualifications and still did a mighty job

Absolutely.

She told DailyEdge.ie that she just “did it for the craic” and had no intention of becoming internet famous off the back of it:

Didn’t think it would go viral, 30-40 likes on Facebook maybe but I never expected this… I woke up to a string of messages from newspapers and reporters.

And yes, hers was a more realistic appraisal of having twins:

Beyoncé will never really know what it’s like to have twins 24/7! Her life is the photo she put up all glam and photoshopped… the reality is €6 runners from Penneys and unshaven legs!

Various radio stations - from Today FM to 98 FM – have shared her photo on Facebook, along with massive parenting page The Unmumsy Mum, picking up tens of thousands of likes in the past 12 hours.

Forget Bey, Ireland has its own – slightly more down to earth – twin photo shoot star.
