BEYONCÉ HAS JUST announced that she and husband Jay-Z are expecting twins.

Queen Bey shared the news with a typically over-the-top maternity photo posted to Instagram, saying their family is “growing by two”.

We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters

The twins will be siblings to Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter, who turned five years old in January.

You might remember that the first time around, Bey announced her pregnancy with an entire performance at the 2011 VMAs:

In her 2013 HBO documentary Life Is But A Dream, the singer revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage before the birth of Blue Ivy.

I heard the heartbeat, which was the most beautiful music I ever heard in my life. I picked out names. I envisioned what my child would look like… I flew back to New York to get my check up – no heartbeat.

The news that she is pregnant again has already been declared the saving grace of 2017.
