BEYONCE CAN RAP, we all know it.
People have renewed their campaign for a Beyonce rap album since DJ Khaled dropped his latest track, Top Off.
Beyonce joins Jay Z and Future on the song, and it’s a bit of a banger.
However, when people started breaking down the rap, they found that there was some intricate shade in there. Drake, Kim Kardashian, and Tiffany Haddish were all in the firing line.
Let’s have a look.
Drake
Beyonce seems to have used her opening line to take down Drake.
She raps:
I break the internet, top two and I ain’t number two.
Drake famously bragged on Gyalchester:
I know I said top five, but I’m top two, and I’m not two and I got one.
Looks like yer two now, mate.
Kim Kardashian
Anyone could recognise that the aforementioned ‘I break the internet’ is a reference to Kim’s constant claims that she’s breaking the internet.
Tiffany Haddish
The actress and comedian came under a bit of fire when she spoke about a night out she had with Beyonce and Jay Z, claiming that Beyonce was a tad territorial over her husband.
Beyonce seems to have subtly hit back, rapping:
If they’re tryna party with the queen, they gon’ have to sign a nondisclosure.
Tiffany tweeted that she loves the song and would be happy to sign an NDA for future nights out. We’ll see if they happen.
