What the hell is Big Dick Energy and why is everyone talking about it?

Not everyone has it.

YOU’VE PROBABLY SEEN it splattered across Twitter and the internet in general and if you’re not up to date with your lingo, it has probably confused the hell of you. Yes, that’s right, it’s time to talk about Big Dick Energy.

The term was popularised by consistent trend setter Ariana Grande who in a now deleted tweet seemed to reveal the size of fiancee Pete Davidson’s penis.

Because the internet is the internet this naturally sparked a conversation about their engagement because people were questioning how Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson even ended up together.

While this is harsh on Pete Davidson, the term ‘big dick energy’ is kind of a tribute to him because it basically means a person who exudes the confidence of having a big dick without maybe having said big dick.

The perfect thing about Big Dick Energy is that it’s gender less. Anyone can have the Big Dick Energy so long as they have that certain kind of swagger. The swagger of someone who exudes the confidence of having an enormous penis. It’s the perfect meme really.

Think Rihanna, think Janelle Monae, think Terry Crews, think the literal opposite of Adam and Eyal from Love Island.

That’s the key difference, it’s confidence not cockiness. It’s the ability to kill a room dead with one look but not be a total arsehole about it at the same time (a balance some of us definitely struggle with).

It’s that ability to put your point across without shouting over everyone else. It’s being charismatic and charming without being creepy. It’s the Icelandic football team. IT’S BIG DICK ENERGY.

So embrace it and be the Big Dick Energy that you want to see in the world.
