People adored Adam Scott's singing on Big Little Lies - But it was actually Irish singer Conor O'Brien
BIG LITTLE LIES came to a shocking conclusion last night. If you don’t watch the drama, you really should. But, perhaps the most surprising moment was when Ed Mackenzie took to the stage to perform Elvis’ The Wonder Of You.
People thought he sounded GREAT
But hold on a second, was that really Adam Scott?
Some weren’t buying it
And Adam himself revealed in an interview on Conan that he took singing lessons for weeks, but director Jean-Marc Ballée had him lip-sync instead.
Speaking to Vulture, Vallée said both Adam and James Tupper (who plays Madeline’s first husband, Nathan) couldn’t sing for shit.

So who was it?
Vallée told Vulture in the same interview that he chose A well-known Irish crooner.
There’s no hiding it.
You may know Conor O’Brien, aka Villagers, from this Mercury Prize nominated album, Becoming A Jackal.
