That viral Black Friday fight video is most likely a big fat fake
WELL, WE MADE it past Black Friday all in one piece. While the notorious shopping day hasn’t quite sent Ireland crazy, the States is a different picture altogether.
This video of a woman who appears to steal vegetable steamers from a little boy went viral yesterday among the reports of the shopping frenzy and stampedes.
The video was posted to YouTube by a user called BlackFriday Fight who says:
But despite having over 4.8 million views, the video was posted on November 26, the day before Black Friday.

The video was widely shared as taking place yesterday, but could have been filmed if the shop opened early. Still, myth debunkers Snopes looked into it a bit more.
They also point out that the woman and her child come from a completely opposite direction of the footfall.

Some commenters also have their suspicions, pointing out that the woman robs the kid’s box despite two on the floor in front of her.
Many have begun speculating a bigger picture, with the name Jimmy Kimmel dropped quite a bit.
