Blake Lively used her Met Gala outfit to give Ryan Reynolds and her kids a tiny shout-out

When we say tiny, we mean tiny.

WE’RE GUARANTEED SOME antics from Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds at least once a month. The pair are always at it. Whether they’re ripping the piss out of each other or cropping each other out of photos, the pair of them are always up for a laugh.

But they love each other, really.

And Blake Lively’s Met Gala outfit is evidence of that.

In fairness… It’s really not immediately clear what her outfit has to do with Ryan Reynolds. Don’t try and spend any more time trying to figure it out. You’ll be here all night. It’s her clutch.

Designed by Judith Leiber Couture, Blake’s clutch was bedazzled with a tribute to her family. There’s an ‘R’ for Ryan and a ‘B’ for Blake. This is the rich people version of writing “(your initials) <3 (their initials)” on the back of your journal when you’re in secondary school.

Of course there are two more letters – ‘J’ and ‘I’. That’s for Ryan and Blake’s kids, James and Ines.

Ryan couldn’t make it to the Met Gala the other night (and neither could the kids, obviously). Instead, Blake’s date was American director of The Handmaid’s Tale, Reed Morano.
