Blind puppy and ‘seeing eye’ brother adopted after adorable hug goes viral
THIS PHOTO OF a blind puppy and his brother cuddling up together will melt your cold, cold heart.
The pair of eight-month-old pups were wandering the streets of Philadelphia when they were picked up by the Operation Ava Shelter. When the shelter took this adorable photo of the two strays to attempt to look for a home for them, the touching shot went viral.
Only adding to the cuteness is the fact that Jeffrey is blind, while his brother Jermaine acts as his ‘seeing eye dog’ and guides him around.

Ah here.
After the shelter posted the photo they were bombarded with adoption requests from as far away as Australia and Ethiopia.
According to Philly.com, the pair were eventually given to Veronica McKee and Jonathan Hochman, who say that they’re preparing to spoil the dogs rotten. Why? “Gut,” said the CEO of the shelter.
