This cafe in Dublin is bringing the 'blue latte' craze to Ireland

Ah here.

FIRST IT WAS matcha lattes. Now, welcome the Smurf latte.

Blue lattes have been taking over Instagram recently, and now they’ve finally come to Dublin. They were invented in Melbourne and contain a mix of lemon, ginger, agave, almond milk, and E3 live algae.

YEAH.

The Cracked Nut on Camden Street will be serving them from today

They originated in Matcha Mylkbar, with owner Mark Filippelli saying it tastes like a warm lemon, ginger, and honey tonic.

The health benefits include a massive helping of antioxidants, as even one gram of Algae ha a huge health boost.

There’s no actual coffee in it though, which is a massive downside, but at least it will look pretty on Instagram.
