MEET BREDA AND Paddy.
The Cashel couple met in Australia, but were back home living in Tipperary ready to get married on Don’t Tell The Bride last night.
And they put on quite a show. Firstly, the groom-to-be put down a marker early on:
“My theme is a bog wedding”
Their story of meeting in Australia before he had to move home a couple of days later was adorable for starters
Living in Cashel with their daughter Emily, the pair were all set for their big day.
Now all they had to do was plan it.
Paddy came up with the idea of the bride being transported to the wedding in a turf cutter – or a “bog limousine”
Viewers were enthralled at the proposed bog wedding
And the planning meetings happening among the bales
Paddy wrote a letter about how much he missed her when he was planning the wedding
While she was brought up on stage at the Ploughing Championship to announce the date
But she still didn’t know about what was to come.
Finally, the big day came and the turf cutter was out
Your carriage awaits
Her response on the back of it?
He’s had some crazy ideas, and this is up with them. Where the f**k are we going?
But the actual bog setting waiting for her was actually lovely
If the rain held off.
Ah would you look
The bog might have divided opinion
But Paddy and Breda were an absolute hit
Great wedding lads <3
