UPDATE 4pm: Ronan Ryan tells us via Twitter than Bono is in fact on Twitter. We’re believing nothing until we see that blue tick.

BONO, DESPITE BEING one of the world’s biggest rock stars still hasn’t given in to the Twitter bug.

He’s still trending in Ireland, after yesterday’s bit of grub with the Obama ladies, but because he’s not on the social networking site, he’s probably oblivious.

The U2 frontman is probably better off, considering the grief he gets via 140 characters…
