Little Scottish boy tries to race marathon runners... and it ends in a faceplant
YESTERDAY BROUGHT US the women’s marathon event at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
As the two Kenyan runners in the lead – Flomena Cheyech Daniel and Caroline Kilel, two of the best runners in the world – paced through the streets of Glasgow, a local youngster decided to take them on.
He made a strong and heroic start.
But in the end, a misplaced step was his downfall.
