Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden are forming a two-person supergroup called 'Boyzlife'

The rumours are true. They’re going to go on tour singing Boyzone and Westlife songs.

KEITH DUFFY AND BRIAN McFadden are forming a ‘supergroup’ called Boyzlife that will tour singing Boyzone and Westlife songs.

The project will be “backed and funded” by hotel group Hilton, according to The Sun. The paper reports Brian and Keith are hoping other former Boyzone and Westlife members will join them.

Both McFadden and Duffy teased the news on social media last night, posting a photo of the two of them clinking pints:

McFadden told the Sun’s Dan Wootton he hoped all the former members would come together for a world tour:

Can you imagine the craic? Nine of us Irish lads on a tour bus together, going round the world together. It would be absolute carnage. We all get on so well so you never know. We would have so much fun on tour.

At the moment, though, it’s just him and Keith. The pair will play a show in London on October 16 and then eleven more dates nationwide, all in Hilton locations. Tickets range from €35, up to €100 for the VIP package.

There’s no Republic of Ireland date, but the pair will be making an appearance in Belfast.

Boyzone toured last year, while Westlife performed their final shows back in 2012 (although McFadden left in 2004).

Twitter, meanwhile, is ablaze:

Keith Duffy has held a number of acting roles since his Boyzone days and done high-profile charity work. Brian McFadden was eliminated from skiing reality show The Jump last week.
