Here's everything we know about Bressie's new kid's book
BRESSIE IS RELEASING a children’s book at the end of the year.
The Blizzards frontman is releasing the follow-up to his best-selling memoir Me and My Mate Jeffery.
The picture book, published by Gill Books, is entitled ‘The Magic Moment”, and features illustrations by Sheena Dempsey.
Talking to Twitter, the musician said:
The book follows a young boy who gets overwhelmed by his first trip to the swimming pool. It’s being billed as containing “an easy mindfulness technique that helps children return to the present moment”.
The title of the book comes from a technique Breslin developed that has its foundations in hypnosis and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). It involves recalling a very happy memory and focusing on that as you squeeze your finger and thumb together.
