There'll soon be 7 fewer biscuits in a packet of digestives, and no, NOTHING is sacred
TOBLERONES. JAFFA CAKES. Maltesers. All delicious treats that have been impacted in some way by Brexit.
You’d think they’d spare the humble digestive, but no, that’s up on the chopping block too.

McVitie’s has announced that it will be shrinking packets of digestives by 20% – they’ll go from 500g to 400g, the equivalent of removing seven biscuits from each packet.
The company claims that price increases caused by the post-Brexit drop in the value of sterling has made ingredients more expensive.
And it’s not just the digestives, either – Sky News reports that more McVitie’s products will be shrinking to fight the rising costs of production.
They have yet to confirm which products will be affected, but cross your fingers that they’ve managed to save the chocolate digestives. And the caramel ones. And *clutches at craw* what of the Rich Tea?!
Seven biscuits might not seem like much, but when morale is so low… We need our biscuits now more than ever.
