Brian, 39, went on to honour loved ones who have supported him through his grief.

“Thankfully I am blessed with the most AMAZING family. How we have cried but also laughed exchanging our stories on you Mum the Super Woman who shaped our life’s.” (sic)

The Big Brother winner and television presenter then acknowledged his inner circle, and thanked them for their encouragement in the weeks that followed his mother’s death.

Outside my own family I’m also blessed with another family. This family I made myself. It consists of people who love me,that never judge me and with out each one of them over the last 4 weeks I’d have no idea where I would be. You keep me strong, you keep me sane and I’m forever grateful.

Earlier this month, Brian told his Instagram followers that the day his mother died his ‘life changed forever’.

In a post composed on Mother’s Day, Brian reflected on the exceptionally close relationship he shared with Rosie.

Directing his words towards her, he reiterated the impact she had on him throughout his life.

I ALWAYS looked to you for guidance and support there was nothing we couldn’t fix with a gossip and a cup of tea.You loved watching me on Snap Chat & Insta story and your name would always come up first as having watched. To think I will NEVER see your name appear again breaks my heart.

Brian finished his Mother’s Day post with a nod to the future.

On the morning we buried you apart of me went with you. My life will NEVER be the same again. Will think of you and love you every day until we meet again have the kettle boiling Mum there will be so much to catch up on.
