Backstreet Boys' Brian references 'fame-seekers' when discussing rape allegations against Nick Carter
IN NOVEMBER OF last year, Backstreet Boys member, Nick Carter, was accused of rape.

The allegation was made by a singer named Melissa Schuman, who claimed the incident occurred in 2002.
Carter has strenuously denied the allegations, and according to an interview Brian Littrell gave to TMZ this week, Nick has the full support of his bandmates.

Speaking at LAX airport, Brian told reporters that while he’s reluctant to comment on the case, he ‘stands beside’ his bandmate.
He added:
When pressed on the issue by the reporter, Brian said that while he’s confident the case won’t progress, the band simply have to await the outcome of the investigation.
In a rather misguided move, Brian then highlighted the band’s new-found popularity.

After alluding again to fame-seekers, the performer gave the Backstreet Boys a shout-out.
Carter’s case is currently being investigated by the Los Angeles County District Attorney.
