THIS PHOTO OF Brian O’Driscoll bringing the Heineken Cup into a small child in Temple Street is probably one of the best Irish photos of the last decade.
Just TRY not to feel elated, just looking at it.
The kid in question is Michaela Morley from Westport, who was five at the time. She was receiving haemodialysis at Temple Street since she was born and was waiting the national transplant list for a kidney.
They later reunited on Ireland AM for Christmas, and it was so sweet

It seems that Brian, an ambassador of Temple Street, is determined to keep in touch with his new friend.
He shared an updated photo of the two on social media, and our hearts can’t take it
He wrote:
Always great to catch up with my little buddy Michaela Morley who is better than ever at the opening of the new Renal & Neurology Outpatient Units @Temple_Street earlier today. Thanks you to all the incredibly generous donors who helped make this happen.
Temple Street shared a photo from the launch too
Michaela is now 13, and received her transplant back in 2011. Wonderful.
