Broad City is officially coming to an end, and Twitter can't really handle the news
IF YOUR LIFE improved exponentially after welcoming Abbi Abrams and Ilana Wexler into it, you’re not alone.
The creators and stars of Broad City filled a void we didn’t even know we had, and frankly we assumed they’d always be there.
Unfortunately, this belief was quashed with little to no thought for our feelings this week after the duo released a statement, confirming that the show would come to an end next year.
Breaking hearts on Twitter, Ilana and Abbi confirmed that after 2019, there would be no more.
And we’re already getting emotional.
Throwing fans a bone, the talented pair hinted that the future wouldn’t be entirely devoid of their unique brand of humour.
Unfortunately, that nod to the future wasn’t enough for people on Twitter, who are going to need some time to process developments.
