Broadchurch's season two finale had everyone so shook it trended worldwide

And yes, there’s going to be a third series.

THE FINALE OF the second season of Broadchurch aired last night.

It was – how can we put this? – a tense period on our screens.

All around Ireland and the UK, people were like:

And sometimes even like:

Frankly, the commercials were a welcome respite.

There was so much of this kind of thing, the hashtag trended worldwide.

And the ending was widely admired.

However, there was widespread disagreement as to whether Joe killed Danny Latimer or not. Some people said no.

Other people said ‘Of course!’

But there *was* one piece of news that delighted pretty much everyone.
