IF YOU WEREN’T patiently waiting for RTE’s exit poll, you were probably watching Graham Norton instead.
Graham’s guests were Jurassic World’s Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jeff Goldblum, and Line of Duty Star Thandie Newton.
Not a bad haul.
Attention soon turned to Bryce, and Graham being Graham, dug a little deeper on her claimed Irishness.
What’s your connection to Ireland? Are the Howards something to do with Ireland?
“I don’t know if you can tell, genetically I’m Irish”, she replied, tugging at her hair
My dad shot Far and Away there when I was 10 years old, and we lived in Dingle, Ireland. There was a dolphin, a wild dolphin.
Graham piped in with his name.
Fungie!
“Fungie the Dolphin! I got to swim with Fungie the Dolphin, as many people do who go there. A WILD dolphin”
But it gets better.
“When we were shooting Jurassic, the first Jurassic, I was thinking about Fungie the Dolphin, and I looked it up and it’s still alive”
Bless her heart.
Graham had to break it to her.
They SAY that. It’s a dolphin. They all kinda look alike Bryce. I mean, yeah, that’s him, look he remembers you.
Oh Graham, way to ruin it for us.
Graham then showed a photo of Bryce in Dingle as a child, saying it looks like an ad for Bord Fáilte.
He’s not wrong.
