YESTERDAY, WE brought you news of artist Paul McCarthy’s ‘Christmas tree’ sculpture in the centre of Paris.
It resembles nothing more than a giant green butt plug.
The vast emerald sex toy was erected only three days ago. But last night, somebody took moral action against it.

A police source told AFP that “individuals waited until the security guard’s attention was elsewhere and cut the cable the kept the sculpture in place”, adding:
The inflated work slumped down.
Meanwhile, an official from the FIAC contemporary art fair said the prudish vandals had also unplugged the pump that kept the enormous thing erect.
