Move aside Hadfield, Buzz Aldrin took the first ever space selfie
YESTERDAY MARKED THE 45th anniversary of the moon landing and to celebrate the one and only Buzz Aldrin dropped this little fact:
He was the originator of the space selfie.
Long before Commander Hadfield was bringing life on the ISS to the world via social media, Aldrin was posing for a self-portrait during the Germini 12 mission in 1966.
In pictures: The Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969>
