DAVID AND SAMANTHA CAMERON have brought their new baby, Florence, home to the prime minister’s London residence.
Florence Rose Endellion was born ahead of schedule on 24 August during the Cameron family’s holiday in Cornwall. The baby had been due in September.
Cameron said he was “absolutely thrilled” with the baby’s arrival: “She is an unbelievably beautiful girl and I’m a very proud Dad.”
Tony Blair’s son Leo – also his fourth child – was the last child to be born to a serving prime minister, and the first to be born for 150 years.
The Camerons have two other children, Nancy, 6, and Arthur, 4. Their six-year-old son Ivan died in February. He had suffered from cerebral palsy and epilepsy, and died on 25 February after becoming ill.
