Caption competition: War is over?
THE SUN SHONE brightly on the 1916 commemoration ceremony today at Arbour Hill.
Normally held at this time to remember the dead and the executed of the 1916 Rising, it appears that this morning’s event brought out the peacemakers.
Everyone in this picture looks absolutely delighted with themselves, Taoiseach Enda Kenny, FF leader Micheál Martin, President Mary McAleese and husband Martin and Army onlookers.
But what could they be thinking? Your suggestions in the comments section please – the best ones will be published in the Daily Fix at 8pm.
