YEAH, SO THIS happened.
Two men in England were caught driving on the M42 with a red cape on the back of their car instead of the expected window. The pair had their car seized by the Central Motorway Policing Group after they pulled them over on suspicion of driving without insurance.
Oh, and they were both dressed as Superman. Obviously.
A force spokesman told the BBC:
Even the cops in the states were getting in on the joke. Careful, handing out all those gas tickets could be construed as an abuse of power.
