In an Instagram upload, she announced that she had just completed the six-part series, and was ‘shocked and outraged’ by the stories contained within, writing: “My heart goes out to all the victims of his emotional and physical abuse and their families.”
Applauding her peers in the entertainment industry who have also spoken out against the performer, Cara dubbed Kelly ‘a monster’.
Reflecting on her previous stance, she admitted: “We have ourselves to blame in this situation, I knew of the allegations but failed to try and understand the severity of the situation.”
Today, the model and actress returned to Instagram to address the fact that she had lost 50,000 followers since posting her thoughts on the docuseries.
Alongside a photo of herself looking bemused, 26-year-old Cara announced the decrease in followers, and said she has no intention of censoring herself online.
“This is me realizing I lost more than 50,000 followers yesterday after posting about @rkelly,” she began the post.
Of the followers she lost due to her opinion on Kelly, Cara wrote: “The followers I lose clearly don’t agree with what I have to say, people that support the ideas and actions of others who are moving backwards and not forwards.”
