LOOK, WE ALL know that the truly exciting part of a celebrity baby announcement is the moment they reveal the kid’s name.

And the more ridiculous, the better, obviously.

Despite only confirming her pregnancy less than two weeks ago, Cardi B was happy enough to tell Ellen De Generes that her and her fiancé Offset, have already settled on a name.

My dude named the baby. I really like the name. I’m going to let him say the name since he named the baby.

And as there was no way she was willing to spill, Ellen was forced to guess in a moment vaguely reminiscent of Mrs Doyle’s classic exchange with Fr Todd Unctious in Father Ted.

I’m just going to guess. Susan? No? More complicated than that? Is it going to be, like, a tricky name?

Realising she was fighting a losing battle and Cardi wasn’t about to break, Ellen gave up.

And this is a real shame because we think Ellen could have held out for much longer.

She did, however, tell Cardi she’d give her €20,000 if she named it Ellen.

“Could I put it in the middle name?” Cardi replied, eyeing Ellen across the set.
