Carrie Fisher 'regretted' revealing that she had an affair with Harrison Ford

Her brother Todd has written a new memoir about growing up with her and his mother Debbie Reynolds.

A NEW MEMOIR by Carrie Fisher’s brother Todd Fisher has revealed that Carrie regretted mentioning the affair that she had with Harrison Ford during the filming of Star Wars in the 1980s.

In his memoir which is called ‘My Girls: A Lifetime with Carrie and Debbie’, Todd revealed that it was in fact their mother Debbie Reynolds who told Carrie the story about the affair was too personal to put into her autobiography ‘The Princess Diarist’.

What Harrison and everyone else may not know is that Carrie went to mom right after the book became such a big deal and said, ‘You were right, I shouldn’t have told that story.’ For what it’s worth, Harrison, she really did regret telling the story of that affair.

The affair occurred when Fisher was 19 and Ford was 33 with 2 kids. Fisher told People in 2016;

It was so intense. It was Han and Leia during the week, and Carrie and Harrison during the weekend.

Carrie died on December 27th at the age of 60 after suffering a heart attack while travelling. Todd also revealed that his mother was broken hearted by the death of Carrie and told him ‘I want to be with Carrie’ before passing away the day after her daughter.

The common theory about mom’s passing was that, after losing Carrie, Debbie Reynolds died of a broken heart. Take it from the son who was there, who knew her better than anyone else on earth — that’s simply not true. Debbie Reynolds willed herself right off this planet to personally see to it that Carrie would never be alone.
