A LAWSUIT FILED BY a group of cocktail waitresses claims the skimpy new outfits at one Atlantic City casino in the US have cost 15 of them their jobs, because middle-aged and older servers didn’t look sexy enough in them.
Resorts Casino Hotel is being sued by seven of the fired waitresses. Several others are considering legal action.

Their union says the women were made to strip in front of female co-workers, told to squeeze into uniforms too small for them, and then photographed. A modelling agency was recruited to recommend who should go.
The new flapper costumes are part of Resorts’ effort to rebrand itself in a roaring ’20s theme after the popularity of “Boardwalk Empire.”
The casino says each worker was treated fairly and says the costumes are key to its business operations.
