Former MMA fighter Cathal Pendred is looking well on the set of the new Baywatch reboot. The movie stars Zac Efron and The Rock, and is currently being filmed in Miami, and Dubliner Cathal is fitting right in.
Cathal’s character is not yet known, but we’re guessing he’ll run slow-mo down the beach at some stage.
Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid is reportedly dating former Miss Galway Meghann Scully just months after his split from actress Courtney Cox. The Sun claims that the Derry lad and former MTV reporter after meeting her at the Oscar Wilde Awards in Los Angeles.
Johnny is very laid back and often found the courtship with Courteney very smothering. Now that he’s single again, he just wants to have fun and enjoy himself.

They said it’s early days, but both seem excited to see where it goes.
John Goodman isn’t too impressed with Kirsten Wiig. The actor told the The Howard Stern Show that he was excited to see her at a Hollywood party so interrupted her conversation to say hello. Goodman then said that she took one look at him and said, “Yeah, I’ll talk to you in a minute”.
