Catherine Corless has battled the state, the church to bring us the truth, regardless how tough it is. We owe her so much. I actually stood up there & clapped at the tv when she was given her award, she deserves nothing less #PeopleOfTheYear

Twitter was so emotional after Catherine Corless' win at the People of the Year Awards last night
LAST NIGHT, HUNDREDS gathered at Dublin’s Mansion House to honour those nominated at the annual Rehab People of the Year Awards.
The ceremony, which was broadcast on RTÉ One, is held every year to acknowledge individuals who have displayed bravery and determination in the face of adversity.
