DailyEdge praises those who rocked the week in celebland, while keeping a watchful eye on those who should just log off forever.
Losers
Kelsey Karter
Kelsey Karter might be a winner in some eyes, as we haven’t really heard of her until now. Why has her profile shot up? Well, she got a tattoo of Harry Styles’ face, on her face.
OK, not really. The singer later admitted it was all a stunt to promote her new single. Hey, it worked. I’m just not listening.
Let’s not make this a habit, guys.
Justin Bieber
Justin released his new range of clothing this week, and er, it’s going down like a lead balloon. What did we expect, really?
Get the full low down here in our brief review.
Winners
Chris O’Dowd
Chris is a winner this week. He found out he was going to picking up an honour at an Irish pre-Oscars bash. The US-Ireland Alliance honours Irish actors before the big event, at the Oscar Wildes. Glenn Close and Irish actor Aidan Gillen will also be honoured.
Previous recipients include Caitriona Balfe, Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, Ruth Negga, and Saoirse Ronan.
Emily Blunt
Emily Blunt had a very good week. The actress picked up loads of nominations for her role in A Quiet Place, and managed to bag an accolade for Best Female Actress in a Supporting Role at the SAGs.
Not only that, but she proved she’s relationship GOALS by making her husband John Krasinski cry with her lovely words.
Daniel Radcliffe
Daniel, aka Harry Potter, saved our minds this week and for that we are thankful. In case you missed it, a few weeks ago, the Harry Potter Pottermore account tweeted this horrible information.
Yes, wizards just go around Hogwarts shitting themselves.
Thankfully, Daniel Radcliffe had enough sense to agree with us all who were appauled.
Appearing on Buzzfeed AM to DM, Daniel said he “didn’t know” that’s what he was doing.
I don’t like the implications. I could’ve done with that information. I do have many questions about it. Like, can we not just vanish it from our stomachs?
I’m not okay with the idea that we would just, where we stood.
I would like to revise that bit of the history.
Us too. Your move, JK.
