DailyEdge praises those who rocked the week in celebland, while keeping a watchful eye on those who should just log off forever.
Losers
Scott Disick
Listen, I feel a bit sorry for Scott. He’s having a tough time since his split from Kourtney Kardashian, and even before that.
This week, however, he’s been spotted with 19-year-old Sofia Richie. Yes, that’s Lionel’s daughter.
The two were papped stealing a brief kiss, and it’s enough to make us all feel slightly dirty for observing it.
To make matters weirder, Sofia is (or at least, was), a pal of Kylie and Kendall Jenner.
Ew.
Jeremy McConnell
Jeremy. Jeremy, Jeremy, Jeremy.
Jeremy McConnell keeps suffering from bad judgement after bad judgement. The 27-year-old was convicted for attacking his ex Stephanie Davis and was given a 20-week suspended sentence at Liverpool Magistrates Court in September.
He’s required to do 200 hours of community service, and we’re ‘delighted’ to be able to say he sees the funny side of it…
Jeremy put this Starbucks cup on his Insta story, which isn’t really the time or place to be joking about your conviction.
Sigh.
Winners
Simon Zebo
Munster rugby ledge Simon Zebo was only bleedin’ delighted when he bumped into ‘Hot Woman’ Emily Ratajkowski at the airport this week.
Emily was over to visit Cork, her fave, when Zebo took a delighted selfie with her.
He wasn’t the only one who was starstruck by the model slash actress. The ladies of the ARC Cancer Support House in Bantry also got a visit from her. Sound.
Michael Fassbender
Oh Fassy. Such a charmer, such a lovely red beard. Michael took some time out from his busy X Men filming schedule to pay a visit to a children’s hospital in Montreal.
Squee. Have a look at the rest of the photos here.
What a guy.
Saoirse Ronan
Did everyone enjoy Praise Saoirse Ronan Week? What a week it was. First, Ryan Gosling claimed she was a young Meryl Streep and every actress in Hollywood cried themselves to sleep. Ryan worked with Saoirse on Lost River, and claimed she was a ‘genius’.
He told the Irish Sun on Sunday:
She’s a genius. She’s a master. She made me a better actor, I think any actor she works with, there’s an elevation in their abilities, upping their game.
Damn.
I felt like I was working with a master, like someone from the Golden Age. Someone superior to my skills as an actor in every way. She’s Meryl reborn.
Daaaaaaaamn.
If that wasn’t enough (it was enough, dear readers), Margot Robbie also chimed in with some praise at the Goodbye, Christopher Robin premiere on Tuesday. She said:
I just had the pleasure of working with Saoirse Ronan in the last film, who is just the most boss actress there is. She is a gem of a human being, and it was amazing. Such a great experience.
Wow. That’s quite enough now.
