YESTERDAY MORNING, THOUSANDS of kids across the United States walked out of classes to protest against gun violence in America.
Many of the walkouts lasted 17 minutes, to remember the 17 victims who died in the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School a month prior.
Cooper City High School in Florida brought 14 empty desks and three empty podiums outside to honour the 14 dead pupils and the three teachers that were killed last month.
On the other side of the country, students staged a ‘die-in’on a Los Angeles high school football field, spelling out the word ‘ENOUGH’ with their bodies.
