Indeed, most of us have particular fragrances we associate with certain periods in our lives, and look, it’s fair to say a huge number of us went through a ‘celeb’ stage as teenagers.

With that in mind, we asked you to cast your mind back on the A-lister perfumes that saw you through GAA discos, state exams and double History classes.

And without further ado, here are the ones that will always have a special place in your heart.

My friends and I loved Glow by JLo when we were in school!

Jennifer Lopez Glow smelled like a beach. I don’t know if it would still be nice now, but my sister had it and it was very, very lovely.

And yet another shout-out for Ms Lopez.

I used to borrow my sister’s bottle of Still by JLo quite a bit. It had a blingin’ ring on the top you could wear and take off!

I thought Jade Goody’s Shhh! was unreal at the time. It was really hard to get and it was always sold out everywhere.

My aunt got me Shhh! by Jade Goody and I wasn’t too impressed, but then I became obsessed! I think I probably still have a bottle with a drain in it!

I went through a fair few bottles of Heat by Beyoncé. And you got a free CD with that one!

The One Direction perfume, Our Moment, still smells like heaven to this day.

But the clear winner? It’s Britney, bitch.

I DROWNED myself in Curious by Britney, like wow. I was also obsessed with the blue bottle. It looked like a potion. 

Dare I say, Midnight Fantasy was the nicest of all the Britney perfumes.

I was obsessed with Britney Spears Fantasy… oh the shame!

Shame? In actual fact, the original Fantasy by Britney remains a favourite to this day.

I will probably get stick over this, but I still love Britney’s Fantasy. I always buy the huge bottle for like €20 when I go abroad and it lasts forever!

But nope, no stick. She wasn’t alone.
