On February 19 at the age of 85, Karl Lagerfeld passed away following a period of ill health.

For 36 years, Lagerfeld had been at the helm of Chanel as the label’s creative director, having taken the reins at the French fashion house in 1983.

As a nod to one of the world’s best-known names in fashion, we take a look at some of the most iconic and memorable Chanel looks of the last decade.
