Charity auction t-shirts to redress the gender balance
SICK OF THE Plain White Ts? No, not the Hey There Delilah postrels (although we’re pretty sick of that too) – plain white t-shirts.
Children’s development charity Plan Ireland has persuaded a list of Irish designers and stylists to join MTV presenter Laura Whitmore, ambassador for the charity, to customise t-shirts which are then auctioned off at www.plan.ie. The auction closes on 14 October so get your bids in before then. Whitmore said:
There is an event in Dublin’s Sugar Club tomorrow evening when the t-shirts will be put on display and there will be a live customisation workshop for fashionistas. To bid on the t-shirts, you email auction@plan.ie with your name, contact details and how much you want to bid.
These are some of the one-offs on display on Plan Ireland’s Facebook page:
DJ and model Mo Kelly
Presenter Laura Whitmore
Designer Natalie B Coleman
Bitches with Wolves singer James O'Neill
Stylist Aisling Farinella
Stylist Courtney Smith
