Charlie Sheen finally dumped by Warner Bros
THE WARNER BROS company has finally fired troubled star Charlie Sheen from hit CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men.
The show was put on hiatus two weeks ago after Sheen verbally attacked its creator Chuck Lorre and refused to get outside help for alleged alcohol and drugs problems.
Since then Sheen has delivered a serious of bizarre rants in interviews and on his newly-created Twitter account.
Executives at Warner Brothers finally lost patience it seems, informing the media of Sheen’s sacking in an email statement:
Sheen had starred in the show since 2003, becoming television’s highest paid actor in the process. Last year he reportedly signed a deal earning him $2 million per episode.
Since the show was put on hold two weeks ago, Sheen had claimed he would not return for less than $3 million per episode. In a typically cryptic statement given to TMZ.com, the actor said he was happy with Warner Bros’ decision to sack him.
Last night Sheen appeared on the roof of the Live Nation building in Beverly Hills appearing to drink from a bottle labeled ‘Tigerblood’, a phrase he has been using frequently of late.
Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, Sheen’s lawyer Marty Singer said they were planning to sue Warner Bros. “We will sue,” he said. “It’s a matter of when. It could be this week, it could be in a little while. We’re in no rush. But we will sue.”
If you happen to want to work with Charlie Sheen, he’s looking for an intern with ‘Tigerblood’>
